Heron Happenings – Aug. 23-28

I want to with Ms. Tory Grace, our lunchroom manager, a Happy Birthday!

As you all as figured it out, it has been a bumpy time in Brantley County. We have had to move to a modified schedule in an effort to slow the spread the COVID.

All of our classrooms are ensuring that students are following the CDC guidelines for time and distance. We have also placed protocols in place during lunch.

On Monday, all students will have some work uploaded to their google classroom. Also, all teachers will be available for ‘office hours’ when they are needed.

Each Monday during A/B (as needed) a google meets will be shared with all students to meet with their teachers;

1st block – 9:00- 9:30

2nd block – 10:00- 10:30

3rd block – 11:00-11:30

4th block – 1:30-2:00

Teachers will make themselves available, as needed. Students will just need to email their teachers.

If you have further questions about the schedule, please email me.

* All Academic dual enrollment students have been getting emails, but their classes will run as normal each day.

**Those in technical dual enrollment classes have all been emailed as well with the dates that they should attend.

  1. Not all households have internet or are able to access internet, also not all children have mobile devices that they can use for those purposes. How are yall going to handle this for those families?
