We had a great week at BCHS! Many of our clubs, sports, and other groups passed out hundreds of pieces of candy on Thursday evening to the young kids of Brantley County! It was great to see our students enjoying community outreach!
Our girls cross country team qualified for the state tournament on Wednesday and we had two individual boys that also qualified for the tournament.
Our football team beat Long County on Friday night in Ludowici! They played great and deserve lots of credit for continuing to work hard! We need a full house on Friday night to support these boys as they take on Tattnall!
On Monday November 2 we will celebrate the centennial (100 years) of Brantley County! It was the 158th out of 159 total counties created in Georgia! Mr. Dillan Lee has created a wonderful google slide that goes through some of the historical highlights of Brantley County!
We will also wear purple on Friday to honor Epilepsy Awareness Month. We have a handful of students that suffer from disease and we hope that discussion on how to better support those that deal with this disorder will occur.
