Heron Happenings – Oct. 26-31

The week started off rough with the passing of our Probate Judge and wonderful Brantley County resident, Mrs. Karen Batten. Please keep her family in your prayers.

APPLY TO COLLEGE WEEK IS THIS WEEK! MANY SCHOOLS HAVE WAIVED THE APPLICATION FEES!

Our softball team dropped two games to Morgan County and were eliminated from the state playoffs.

Our football team had a rough night against Pierce but we are looking forward to a tough fought match in Long County on Friday night.

Basketball tryouts start Monday and wrestling will not be far behind.

Our classes are going strong and the students are working hard. Please make sure that your child stays on top of their grades. If there are issues please contact your students teacher to set up a meeting. This has certainly been a crazy school year, but we are proud of the gains that our students have made!

I strongly encourage every child to get involved in a club or athletic group.

Please encourage your children to follow the rules and be leaders in the school. They have an opportunity to be named PBIS student of the week.
