Heron Happenings – Oct. 1-6

We had our first pep rally this Friday and the students had a great time! Football players, cheerleaders, and softball players visited elementary schools on Friday morning to welcome the students as they were dropped off at parent drop off or getting off the bus. The high school and elementary school students all had a great time!

The football team got a big win in our first home game of the season! We are proud of the players, coaches, and fans! Go Herons!!

The cross country team finished 3rd in a highly competitive meet on Thursday. We are proud of our cross country team – the region meet is next at the end of October.

The competition cheer team finished in 2nd place in Ware County last Saturday! We are proud of our cheer girls!

I want to invite everyone to the region playoff game at BCHS on Monday – the first game starts at 4:00 and the second game at 6:00. COME SUPPORT THE LADY HERONS! If the games are split there will be a third game on Tuesday at 6:00.
