Heron Happenings – Sept. 10-15

We had a short week at BCHS, but one that was packed full of excitement! Our students are working on projects, labs, vocabulary, and many other fun activities in their classes. Our clubs are in full blast with meetings and competitions looming — we highly encourage all our students to get involved in an extra-curricular activity. We are extremely excited about our new Audio/Visual class that has been recording our athletic events, editing videos, and will be videoing other school activities! Mr. Winder’s is teaching this course and the students are having a great time.

We hosted 2 softball games and were on the road for JV and Varsity football. Our softball team is currently 3-1 in the region and the football team played a great game on Friday night against a difficult opponent — coming up just short in Hazlehurst.

Our 2018-2019 Principal’s Advisory Counsel met on Friday for the first meeting and decided that we will have our first dress up day on Wednesday – Represent your favorite college!

The leadership team also met on Wednesday and discussed many of the topics going on at BCHS and expressed the excitement about all the great things that our students are doing this year!
