If you are planning on pursuing a degree in the Agriculture Field, Home Economics, or related field, the Brantley County Farm Bureau Scholarship is now available. I have listed the eligibility criteria below and will post it on our Scholarship Guidance Website with the attached application link.
Applicants must be a high school senior in the upper one third (1/3) of his or her class and qualified to enter college in the fall term of the current year, or a full-time college student taking courses as prescribed in the field of agriculture and environmental sciences, family and consumer sciences, forestry or related agribusiness field and has maintained at least a 2.7 GPA.
A student can only be eligible for a scholarship award for four (4) consecutive years and must meet all requirements for each application.
A student is no longer eligible to apply for this after reaching age 23.
If you have questions regarding the scholarship and your college major, you could contact Ms. Estor Nettles with Farm Bureau, and she could probably point you in the right direction.
