The basketball team opened with a scrimmage against Berrien County – the young Lady Herons lost, but had lots of positives from the game. The boys teams led by Jaylin and Pedro dominated a depleted Berrien team (football playoffs), and there were lots of positives as they put up a lot of points.
On Thursday, our faculty and staff had a big send off for our competition cheer girls as they left to compete at the state finals. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the state finals and watch them finish 14th in the state AAA competition. We are very proud of these girls and their coaches.
