The previous week was great at BCHS! Our life skills class turned their classroom into a diner and served up some great spaghetti with all the sides… it was delicious! We had Senior Night for our softball girls on Monday, which included a 12-0 win over Charlton County and our softball players and parents recognized and made a donation to the Albritton Family from Folkston. On Friday, our softball girls dropped a double header to Pierce County, but will still play for 3rd or 4th place in the region and will start the state playoffs on October 11th.
JV football dropped a game to McIntosh Academy, but played well. Varsity football was off and the Cross Country team competed in Ware County. The competition cheerleaders improved their score approximately 16 points from their first to second competition.
The BCHS band competited in the Coffee Marching Invitational and won Best in Class and got all Superiors in each area! Great job BCHS Band!!!
The FFA had their boston butt and rib sale on Friday — if you missed out then you missed a huge treat! They were delicious!!!
Students were busy this weekend painting their parking spots (cheer fundraiser) and they turned out great.
Mattie Davis led the Jr. and Sr. FFA meat evaluation teams to a berth in the state competition!
We had a great turnout at See You At The Pole and Coach Mike McNeil did a wonderful job talking to the students about their walk!
Ms. Kaela Horne had her students creating HUMAN Market Equilbrium’s! The students were highly engaged and had a great time.
Mrs. Monica Ellis’s Spanish class turned into Pablo Picasso style artist this week!
Homecoming tickets go on sale Monday! Presale is $6 for singles and $8 for a couple.
