We had an eventful week at BCHS. Our students are settling into their classes, relationships are being built, and extra-curricular groups are in full swing! The FCA had a great meeting on Friday morning, the FFA had a successful pork chop sale Friday, and FBLA is in full swing with plans for the upcoming year. There are many other groups on campus that have also started their meetings and plans for the year — we hope that our students are able to find a group that they can get involved in! We also had a great week in athletics; the softball girls are 3-1 (1-0 in region) and the football team played a hard fought game against McIntosh Academcy (state runner-up last year) losing 6-14. Our cheerleaders and band did a great job keeping the crowd engaged as well! We also had our first pep rally on Friday and the student body had a blast!
